If you are not at higher levels, watching movies or TV series can’t help you as much as you think. You need to use any learning materials again and again to be better, but it is really difficult to watch and understand a full movie or an episode of your favorite TV shows.
So, I strongly suggest watching short films. They can be watched again and again for different purposes (to improve vocabulary, fluency, pronunciation, intonation, etc.)
Here is one short film I love. You can choose language subtitles.
Do you remember Google Glass and Augmented Reality glasses? The origin of the future is in the present.
Have you heard of Voscreen?
This is where VoScreen comes in. They’ve done the hard work of bringing together short clips from every type of movie or TV series imaginable. And organising them by level and grammatical structure. If you don’t know this tool, you’re going to love it. A free tool that you can get started with in just a few minutes.
I really love this website and I think it's very useful to learn, practise and improve your English language. Click on the picture, log in and enjoy!
